Tournament games will be played at the El Rey Polo Country Club near Puerto Morelos. The drive is about 20 to 25 minutes routing from scenic coastal road to lush jungle terrain. The private facility has natural grass fields, a sport clubhouse with plenty of toilets, showers and changing rooms, shade structure, and space to lounge with your team.
BA Cup shuttle busses will bring adult players and guests from the resort to the fields each morning and then back to the resort in the afternoon. Youth players and their families will have set times for the games with roundtrip shuttle service.
Guests can also choose to reserve a tour that leaves directly from the country club for horseback riding, cenotes, amusement parks, ATV riding, ziplines, tequila tasting, snorkeling,
DAY 1 : THURSDAY, MARCH 4TH
Morning: Arrival at the Cancun International Airport. Board the tournament shuttle bus to the Iberostar Playa Paraiso all-inclusive resort. Receive your room key, complimentary drink and BA Cup welcome kit at the exclusive tournament guest check-in area.
Afternoon: Settle into the Mexican paradise with a cold ceviche or spicy tacos poolside. Enjoy a free afternoon exploring the resort's facilities and activities.
Night: BA Cup official welcome reception. Presentation of all the participating teams during a private dinner event with open bar, music and performances.
DAY 2 : FRIDAY, MARCH 5TH
Morning: Buffet breakfast. Transportation provided to soccer complex for the first day of the tournament.
Afternoon: Return to the hotel for lunch and enjoy a well deserved swim in one of the hotel’s many pools. After a short rest, don’t forget to try out snorkeling or kayaking in the calm ocean water.
Night: Dine at one of the a la carte restaurants. Choose from French, Brazilian, Mediterranean, Italian, or Japanese to fuel up before tomorrow’s games. After dinner, have fun playing a round of mini-golf or enjoy a show at the hotel’s theater.
DAY 3 : SATURDAY, MARCH 6TH
Morning: Buffet breakfast. Tournament shuttle to the soccer complex for the 2nd day of the tournament.
Afternoon: Return to the hotel for lunch or embark on an excursion straight from the fields. You'll have plenty of options such as horseback riding, zip-lining, ATV-riding and swimming in a cenote (a natural lake, lagoon or pond within a cavern or cave).
Night: Indulge at one of the hotel's specialty restaurants.
DAY 4 : SUNDAY, MARCH 7TH
Morning: Buffet breakfast. For guests leaving today, complete the check-out process before the shuttle pick-up for the final day of competition. Awards ceremony with cups and medals for the finalists at the soccer complex.
Afternoon: Return to the hotel to prepare for your scheduled shuttle to the airport - OR - spend a long afternoon relaxing at the beach, getting a massage or out exploring the region's adventure parks.
Night: Final dinner as a team, followed by a farewell party at the hotel’s dance club.
DAY 5 : MONDAY, MARCH 8TH
Morning: Check-out in the early afternoon. Continue enjoying the resort for the day until your scheduled departure for the airport on the tournament shuttle.
PLAYER AGE CATEGORIES
- Women: Open/18+, 35+, 48+ and 60+
- Men: 38+, 48+, 55+, 60+
- Player age minimum is as of December 31, 2027.
- Example: If a player is 47 years old during the tournament but turns 48 at any time in 2027, they are eligible to play in the 48+ age group.
- "Gift/exception" player age is as of Tournament Day 1: March 4th, 2027.
- Example: In the 48+ age group, a player must have already turned 45 years old in order to participate as an exception player.
GIFT / EXCEPTION PLAYERS
- Teams are allowed to include up to 3 players who are a maximum of 3 years younger than the age limit of the age group. This rule does NOT apply to the 60+ Men’s age group.
- If the goalkeeper is up to 3 years younger, they also count as part of this exception and occupy one of the 3 allowed spots.
- A total of 4 games are guaranteed from Friday, March 4th through Sunday, March 7th.
- Format is 7v7 for masters categories. 7 players includes the goalkeeper.
- Men's 48+ also offers 11v11 format.
- Game duration is 2x30 MINS (2 halves of 30 minutes each with a short halftime break).
- Fields are *not* on-site at the tournament resort. For the BA Cup 2027 Riviera Maya, players and non-player guests will be transported from/to the soccer complex located about 25-30 minutes by bus.
- The fields are natural grass.
- The soccer complex has restroom facilities with showers and a changing area.
- Water stations will be provided. There are also outdoor tables for eating and drinking.
- Paramedics from the local area will be on-site at the fields during game times to respond to injuries and health concerns.
- The nearby medical facilities include:
- Hospital Costamed, located in Puerto Morelos, specializes in emergency care and patient stabilization.
- Galenia Hospital in Cancun is a private hospital that offers emergency and specialty treatment.
- Hospiten Riviera Maya, located in Playa del Carmen, has 24-hour emergency care, medical specialties, surgical services, imaging diagnostics and clinical laboratory, hospitalization, and intensive care.

REGISTRATION as a PLAYER or NON-PLAYER
- Navigate to the registration form.
- Select resort guest reservation type.
- Enter dates of stay. Tournament schedule is March 4th to March 8th. Games are on March 5th, 6th and 7th.
- Choose hotel level. All hotels are at the same Iberostar Playa Paraiso Resort. The hotel you choose determines which room size, pools, restaurants and amenities will be available to you. Please consult with your teammates about hotel level as you'll need to reserve the same hotel level in order to spend time together in rooms, restaurants, pools, etc.
- Select the number of guests in your room. The pricing is per person. We recommend a double room (2 guests) for the best experience. The room price is *not* divided by the number of guests.
- Enter the name of your roommate, if applicable. If you do not know, please enter "TBD" or "Pending."
- Choose the bed type.
- Confirm the player fee of $195 USD or select non-player.
- Select the payment schedule you prefer.

About BA Cup Tournaments
BA Cup was created by California-native Anna Renery in 2009. Anna lived in Argentina where she founded and directed the tournament event business. She was a 4-year soccer player, team captain and all-region NCAA athlete. Throughout her life, Anna has collaborated with her father, former professional soccer player, to organize soccer camps and has coached several youth soccer teams and developed many soccer programs for girls.
